What do we do? Charlotte’s Threads is the venue used to receive and sell merchandise for people just like you, interested in selling their merchandise, but really don’t have the time or the patience to do so. We are also a drop-off site for merchandise donated to the Pig Placement Network.  Donations are sold and a portion of the proceeds benefit PigPlacementNetwork.com.

Auction Drop-Off Site

What can be dropped-off? Almost anything can be dropped-off.  In some cases, we make arrangements for larger items to be delivered where they would sell best.

Is all merchandise sold on this site? No. Some items are thought to bring better proceeds if sold on eBay or in one of our affiliate shops. To view a listing of these shops, click on the state of your choice from the ConsignmentShops.com web page.  The shops listed on the ConsignmentShops.com National Directory will accept your merchandise and send the proceeds directly to you.  Contact each store directly for their store information and how they handle their payment.

PigPlacementNetwork.com

What is the Pig Placement Network (PPN)? The PPN promotes domesticated pigs as pets by providing education to seasoned and new pet pig owners, veterinarians, shelters and the general public. The PPN works with animal shelters, humane societies and pet pig owners to rescue unwanted, abused or abandoned pet pigs and place them into new, loving homes.

The PPN is not the only charity we work with. Sometimes we have items for sale whose profits go elsewhere or are a private sale.

What can you donate? You can donate almost anything.  If you think someone will buy it, we will sell it.  Of course, items should be clean and in good shape. For some ideas, click here.

Are all donations sold? No.  The PPN has a variety of needs so they get first choice. If they can use the item it is donated directly to the PPN.  For instance, when food and water bowls are donated, the PPN chooses to keep them and use them for the piggies.

Are all donations sold on this site? No.  Some items are thought to bring better proceeds if sold in one of our affiliate shops.  To view a listing of these shops, click on the state of your choice from the ConsignmentShops.com web page. Most of the shops listed on the ConsignmentShops.com National Directory will accept your donation and send the proceeds directly to the PPN.  If you decide to donate that way, please give the chosen shop this letter.  Any questions, feel free to email or call us.

How do I donate? To send merchandise to Charlotte’s Threads for resale, mail the item to:         Charlotte’s Threads
                         c/o PPN
                         131 Fleming Pike
                         Hammonton, NJ 08037

Mail is not the only way to donate.  If you are located in New Jersey or the Philadelphia area, you can call Charlotte’s Threads to make arrangements for pick-up or delivery. Or, as described above, a ConsignmentShops.com Member Shop can accept your donation and mail the proceeds to PPN.

Send money instead? Click on “Contact Us” from the Pig Placement Network site.  There you will find the correct address to send a check.

Is there a Charlotte? Of course there is! Click here
