With the help of ConsignmentShops.com this is very affordable. We offer different solutions for shops with different needs. I am considering a web page of my own. Where do I start?
Web pages designed by ConsignmentShops.com are only available to Gold or Silver Members. There is a one-time set-up fee of $100.00. As long as you remain an uninterrupted Member of ConsignmentShops.com there will be no additional fees in regards to your web page and it will remain linked from your directory listing for the length of your Membership. Should your Membership lapse, the $100 set-up fee will again be imposed.
What is the benefit to having ConsignmentShops.com design our web page? Our main objective is to save the shop owner money and still get them on the web. Setting-up a standard web page requires a few steps and fees not required when ConsignmentShops.com does your page. First, you need to register a web address which costs $35 per year. This is not necessary when ConsignmentShops.com gives you a page. Second, you would then have to choose a host for your web space which can cost anywhere from $25 per month on up depending on the amount of space you use. That fee does not include maintenance to your account which is the Third fee you will incur, unless you do it yourself. Any changes you need to make to your account will be billed, usually at about a minimum of $25 per hour, no matter how small. ConsignmentShops.com does not charge that monthly fee. Matter-of-fact, after your $100 set-up fee, we don’t bill you ever again and we allow small changes without fees such as hours changes, address changes, etc.
Designing your web page: ConsignmentShops.com will help you with the design of your web page. To get started, we ask you to send us the following:
- Your unique store logo. If you do not have a good quality logo to send us on disk or via the internet, we can scan it from your business card.
- Pictures. These can be of your store-front, customers with merchandise, a choice piece of inventory, an attractive display, whatever you like.
- Text about your shop. You can choose a professional biography, a personal history, a virtual walk-through, again, whatever you like. Try to describe your shop as you would like visitors to see it. Make it a mirror image of what they will find whey they visit your brick-n-morter.
- Links you would like added to your web page such as eBay, Amazon, etc.
- Misc. items would be clip art, special fonts, store hours, if appointments are needed to consign with you, types of payment you accept.
- This is your page so feel free to request background art or colors. All suggestions are welcome.
- Links that ConsignmentShops.com offers... “How to begin Consigning,” “Consign Seasonally,” or anything else we offer our from our web site. Look around and see if there is anything you would like linked from your page.
- Anything you want to tell your customers can be added to your page.
Once we have the above information, we will build you a one-page web site. You will have the opportunity to make suggestions, changes, additions or deletions as we go along and when the page is finished.
The one-page web site does not offer additional pages, shopping on-line or frequent changes to the information on your page at the $100 price. We will allow changes to your hours or contact information without charge. Should you want additional pages, or have special requests, there may be an additional charge. The cost will depend on the difficulty or time required in the request. Feel free to discuss with us your ideas.

We would like to use our own URL. Can we do that?
Yes you can. There is a $10 fee per month for sub-domains. This fee is required yearly. For those that don’t know, having your own URL is like having your own address, such as ConsignmentShops.com or eBay.com. There is a registration fee of $35 per year (Verisign.com). Please contact us directly if you would like this service.
We already have a web site. Can ConsignmentShops.com host our site?
Yes, we can do that too. This service includes 5 emails. There is a monthly fee due quarterly. The fee is $24.99 per month. Please contact us directly if you would like this service.
We prefer to keep our web site as it is, but would like to link it to our listing on the National Directory.
The fee to do so is $25 per year. Link your site to your listing on our National Directory by paying via PayPal or by sending the info to us via the US Mail.
Please include in the message area your shop name and address and
